Pope Benedict XVI To Resign At End Of February

 

I hope everyone has heard by now that Pope Benedict XVI is resigning at the end of this month, i.e., February 28, 2013.  What a surprise.  I am saddened.  I like Pope Benedict XVI.  He is orthodox and sincere and sound in his theology.  But, since I trust him, I have to believe he knows what is best for the Catholic Church.  God bless you Pope Benedict XVI! +
